Sophie

Sophie moved here from the rolling green hills of UK's West Midlands in 2011 to begin a life with her fiancé (now husband) Nate.  Now starting her new life in the U.S., Sophie began fulfilling her dream of working with dogs.  She began regularly volunteering at the Sullivan Humane Society, later becoming employed as their Canine Behavioral Assessor for the PetSmart charities Rescue Waggin program.  Sophie has gained valuable experience from working in other various canine orientated fields also, including grooming.  Since moving to Cory, Sophie has earned her certification as a professional dog trainer.  She enjoys being an active foster for local shelters and rescue groups, regularly volunteering to work with difficult to place dogs.  Sophie is an avid animal lover and is incredibly passionate about animal welfare and enrichment.  In her spare time, she enjoys hiking in the countryside with her dogs, spending time with her husband, cat, and her newfound love of chickens.
